Freebie Friday: Chick-Fil-A Breakfast and a Heavy Duty Gardening Set!

By Sarah • on June 12, 2009

Chick-Fil-A of Boone has been doing some amazing things to get out into the community and get feedback from you! Local owner, Bing Oliver and the team have taken the plunge into the virtual world, starting with their new website, and then the new Facebook Page. Two days in, and they already have more fans than the High Country Mom Squad! (ahem!…)

First, on the Chick-Fil-A of Boone website, you can see a calendar of special events, order food for delivery or pick-up. You can even see the entire menu with nutrition information.  You can contact Chick-Fil-a management and from there with questions or feedback.

The Chick-Fil-A of Boone Facebook Page is going to be lots of fun!  They will post news, events, specials, and create spur of the moment sales and contests just for Facebook Fans! Read to the end of the article for the first wacky Facebook idea, and a free Milkshake!

I’d use the gardening kit to plant some flowers and herbs in our ginormous planters that Jeremy just made!

I have dahlias to plant along the side of my house and peppers to plant out front. I’m also planting hostas all OVER!

And no, I haven’t tried the shakes yet.

What a great giveaway!
What would I plant, not sure. I have everything already planted, but could use it in our garden! Then I would use it for sure next year when I am planting my flowers!

I would love to have a nice set of gardening tools to give to my daughter and get her green thumb going! (She’s only 4.5 months old but she rode in her carrier while I planted this years garden!)

I’d plant rosemary- my favorite herb!!! But I think my kids would throw a coup and insist on watermelons or pumpkins.

Gardening is my favorite hobby. If I won, I would plant more flowers I’m sure. I think planting is an adults excuse to be able to play in the dirt again like a child (loved making mud pies as a child).

I haven’t tried the peach milkshake, put it sounds yummy=)

Ooooh! I’d so use the gardening tools to “help” the boys weed their vegetable garden (grass grows better in the garden than in the yard!). Then I could use the tools to plant more veggies and herbs next year. I haven’t had the peach milkshake yet, but now I want one. :-)
