Evening of Women Songwriters Tonight at the Jones House (FREE)
The Watauga Arts Council is proud to announce an evening of Watauga Women Songwriters as part of the 2009 Concerts on the Lawn series. The concert will include nine groups and 11 songwriters, including Crys Matthews, Monica Woodard, Susan Pepper, Renee Blacken, Becca Eggers-Gryder, Ruth Smith, Lisa Baldwin, Deborah Jean Sheets, and the Forget-Me-Nots fiddlers Maura Shawn Scanlin, Ledah Finck, and Willa Finck.
This dynamic and diverse group of women will be performing all original music. The concert takes
place at the Jones House Community Center in downtown Boone at 604 W. King St. The FREE performances will begin at 5 p.m. rain or shine. (If it rains, the concert will move indoors)
The High Country Mom Squad is proud to sponsor this event, and we will be out there to support all the wonderful women and moms who are sharing their talent!
